Little Nancy Creek Park is entirely built by volunteers and we need your help!

Please consider signing up and volunteering your time when we build the park this Spring, 2011. It takes over 1000 volunteers to make this park a reality and we need all the Atlanta and surrounding areas to help make this dream a reality. People of all ages are needed to volunteer, and we encourage families to help us build our new playground!

What is Little Nancy Creek Park?

The Little Nancy Creek Park Playground project is a volunteer effort imagined by children and built by the community of North Atlanta communities and its visitors to enjoy for years to come. We are a volunteer group operating under a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the help of Park Pride.

Where are we building?

Little Nancy Creek Park is located on Peachtree Dunwoody Road Across from Winall Down in North Buckhead.

When will this happen?

With successful fundraising efforts, the goal is to have the playground built in spring 2011.

How will we build this?

We are working with Leathers & Associates who were chosen to help design a safe, long-lasting and unique playground that reflects the input of our children.

What needs to be done?

Our goal is to raise $150,000 by February 2011, so that we can break ground and start building the LNCP playground April 13-17, 2011.

How Can you help?

We are excited to provide an update on the playground initiative at Little Nancy Creek Park.

All of the children drew their ideal playground as part of the playground Design Days at Sarah Smith Elementary School on May 18th and 19th.

The Leathers Associates playground designer leads the Sarah Smith Elementary School children in sharing their ideas to help design the future Little Nancy Creek Park playground during Design Day this spring.
